What We Help With
We are an independent agency, so we compare options across carriers rather than selling one company’s plans.

Marketplace and ACA plans, including how subsidies work and when you can enroll.
Self-Employed & 1099
Private coverage for contractors, freelancers and business owners outside the Marketplace.

Why Mission Essential Insurance
Veteran-Owned
Founded and run by a veteran. The standards of service and follow-through that come with military experience are what we bring to every client.
Independent, Not Captive
We are not tied to a single carrier, so we can compare plans across companies and recommend the one that actually fits.
Licensed in 30+ States
We can help whether you are in Tampa Bay, elsewhere in Florida, or in one of the other states Eric is licensed in.
Support After You Enroll
Our work does not end at enrollment. We stay available for claims questions, plan changes and annual renewal reviews.
Life Insurance
Most people either have no life insurance at all, or have a policy through work that ends the day the job does. Either way, your family would find out the hard way. It takes one short conversation to know where you stand, and it costs you nothing.
Term Life
Covers a set number of years for a set amount. It is the straightforward option when what you are protecting has an end date, like the years until a mortgage is paid or children are independent. It builds no cash value, and it ends when the term does.
Whole Life
Permanent coverage that also builds cash value over time. The cash value grows slowly, especially early on, and anyone presenting it primarily as an investment is describing it inaccurately. It suits people who want coverage that does not expire.
Coverage Through Work
Employer life insurance is usually a modest multiple of salary, and it generally ends when the job does. It is worth knowing what yours actually covers before assuming it is enough, and whether it follows you if you leave.
Not sure which coverage is right for you?
Talk it through with an independent agent. We will compare what is actually available to you and explain the differences, with no obligation.
